Originally available at retail back in 2010, the intense third-person shooter Vanquish is now headed to the PlayStation Network. The announcement came courtesy of the latest PlayStation Blogcast, and considering the game is already downloadable on Xbox 360 Games on Demand, this makes absolute sense.

Vanquish launched to quite the mixed reaction two years ago. While plenty of people loved the insane action gameplay this Platinum Games effort offered up, other individuals were a bit put off by it. It really all boils down to personal preference. I really dig crazy games, so Vanquish definitely appeals to me.

If you haven’t already played the game and are curious about it or you’re looking for something a bit less conventional, watch out for Vanquish on the PlayStation Network on November 6. Still no word on pricing, but I think we can safely assume the price tag will be around $19.99.
