Engineer Creates PS3 Supercomputer

Using eight Sony Playstation 3 units, Dr. Frank Mueller built a supercomputing cluster capable of high-performance computing and running the latest in computer gaming. Total cost? Around $5,000, which is still much less than what it would cost you to buy other supercomputers on the market.
