Enter the Dominatrix — an expansion originally planned for Saints Row: The Third — has had a weird development cycle. Originally planned for Volition’s previous open world romp, the DLC would later be confirmed as part of Saints Row IV by THQ. Of course, that’s changed as Game Informer is reporting that Enter the Dominatrix will be released as DLC for Saints Row IV instead.

During a Saints Row panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Volition boss Steve Jaros announced that the DLC would arrive 45 days after the upcoming game’s launch. The content will include what’s being dubbed “behind the scenes” commentary that delves deeper into its journey leading up to release.

Saints Row IV is scheduled to launch on August 20 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
