Battlefield 4
Wondering whether your rig will be up to snuff for Battlefield 4? Good news, EA and DICE dropped over the official system requirements today.  As with its predecessor, it looks like BF4 will scale to a wide range of setups. Those wanting to turn up all the knobs might be due for an upgrade, though it looks like anyone that can run BF3 comfortably at max will have no trouble with this one.

Here’s the deets:

Minimum

OS: Windows Vista SP2 32-bit
Processor (AMD): Athlon X2 2.8 GHz
Processor (Intel): Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
Memory: 4 GB
Hard Drive: 30 GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon 3870
Graphics card (NVIDIA): Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics memory: 512 MB

Recommend

OS: Windows 8 64-bit
Processor (AMD): Six-core CPU
Processor (Intel): Quad-core CPU
Memory: 8 GB
Hard Drive: 30 GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon 7870
Graphics card (Nvidia): NVIDIA GeForce GT 660
Graphics memory: 3GB

No surprises, right? Really, the only thing that sticks out to us is the 8GB RAM requirement on the recommended side of things. If you fall a bit short on that, not a huge deal as RAM prices are generally reasonable these days.
