The highly anticipated return of Strider comes to full fruition today as the latest game in the series is now available across most major digital platforms. The aptly named Strider launched yesterday on the PlayStation Network, and it was made available on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam today.
The game features familiar gameplay reintroduced from the arcade (and then NES and Genesis) classic. You must engage in hack-and-slash combat and wild acrobatics against bizarre enemies while in the confines of a futuristic landscape.
Two additional modes join the main campaign. Beacon Run challenges you to clear stages in as fast a manner as possible. Meanwhile Suvival Mode tasks you with taking on increasingly tough hordes of enemies while utilizing preset weapons.
Strider is available now on digital download platforms for $14.99.
