USB Version Fake

Homebrew developer Dark_AleX has released a new custom firmware plugin dubbed USB Version Fake. Compatible with 4.01 M33, the plugin allows users to fake or “spoof” their PSP’s version number for PlayStation 3 connectivity.
Rather useful since the PS3 oftentimes checks to make sure you are running the latest official PSP firmware, which of course can be a problem if you’re running custom firmware.
