About the Game

Shields of Loyalty is a turn-based dark fantasy strategy game. It is set in a thematic 2D world inspired by a legacy of genre classics, enriched with great features and modern gameplay. Experience challenging TBS action with high replayability value on the island world of Mantaria as you lead your army victoriously from battle to battle!

Customize Your Army

Command one of several avatars with unique skills and auras. Train your units up to two times on the path to becoming stronger and more powerful soldiers.
Lead and manage troops through challenging missions while collecting artifacts to strengthen your forces. Discover specialized unit abilities and activate them wisely in the fight against the unholy brood.

Experience Tactical Depth

Utilize each avatar and hero's distinct auras to gain the upper hand in battle. Free "heroes of the old wars" and use their power and auras to your advantage!
Form strategically advantageous formations across the terrain to master challenges and overcome obstacles. Gather units into larger squads to fight against powerful enemies and withstand the onslaught of evil.

Explore Diverse Biomes

Face the undead army across several dynamic areas. Begin by infiltrating in the Darkwoods, a biome covered by forests, swamps, and rocky landscapes. Once you’ve succeeded, push forth into the Eternal Ice and brave a snowy tundra full of lethal traps. Finally, invade the hostile Lava Desert with danger and deadly enemies at every turn.

Navigate Environmental Effects

Survive randomly generated environmental effects such as lightning, storms, or meteorites. These events do not distinguish between friend or foe and will strike either army without mercy.

Replayability

On your way to free the island world of Mantaria, make decisions that unlock certain levels and block others. Enter the battle again and again to experience all of the challenges!

Early Access

• The Early Access version includes the first island "Darkwood", offering around five to six hours of gameplay.
  
• Currently, play as the avatar "Aglovan the Noble" and experience the story from his perspective. Lead an army of different unit types and classes through the island world, skillfully using his strengths as the foreboding cavalry commander.
  
• Train and equip your army! Upgrade each of your units to become stronger and more powerful followers, equipping them with a variety of mighty artifacts to improve their skills.

Road Ahead

• After the Early Access start, we want to introduce you to the next island “The Eternal Ice” with nine brand new levels. Experience a new island in a landscape covered with snow and ice. New enemies, terrain types, events, artifacts and features await you.
  
• A new avatar! Warlord Gormur enters the island world of Mantaria with his barbarian army. Relive the campaigns with Gormur and conquer level by level with his strong infantry and flight units!
