Portal 2 Is Official, Due Out This Holiday Season Says Valve

Following a stint of mysterious and puzzling teases, Valve officially announced development of Portal 2 today. It’s due out “this holiday season,” according to the developer themselves. We’re holding onto our companion cubes with glee. Portal 2 is a direct sequel to 2007’s winner of over 70 industry achievement awards. Perhaps the cake won’t be a lie this time around.

EA Partners Pick Up Shank And Deathspank

Despite rampant talk of downsizing, EA’s Partners initiative is still alive and kicking. EA plans to welcome indie efforts Shank and Deathspank into the fold later this year, according to a 1UP report. Developed by Hothead Games, Deathspank is a Monkey Island-inspired action RPG romp that features eye-popping, almost cartoon-like visuals.

PSN Puzzle Shooter Shatter Steam Bound

Previously seen on PSN, Sidhe Interactive’s physics-powered take on Breakout  is making the jump to Steam. Shatter will debut on PC with a host of game modes including Endless Mode, Endless Co-op Multiplayer, Time Attack, and Time Attack Co-op Multiplayer.
