GeoHot Teases PS3 Custom Firmware In Response To OtherOS Removal

This should get interesting. Taken aback by Sony’s decision to remove the ability to run third-party code and operating sytems through OtherOS on PS3, George “geohot” Hotz has responded by issuing a terse warning on his personal blog, urging those interested in the exploit and retaining OtherOS functionality to skip the soon-to-be-released firmware 3.21 update. Hotz’s statement, verbatim, is below:
